The Staff

Kenneth I. Menefee, CFRE, FAHP
Executive Director

Ken is responsible for all aspects of the fund raising for LRMC and Lakeland Regional Cancer Center and for the management of the LRMC Foundation. Ken is a member of the executive leadership Administrative Council of the medical center. A native Floridian, Ken received his B.S. from East Tennessee State University and has been involved with health care fund raising since 1979. He is a member and Fellow of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, Health System Development Network and a Certified Fund Raising Executive.

Vickie Bryant
Gifts Coordinator

Vickie has been with LRMC Foundation since 1995. Vickie receives, processes and acknowledges the daily gifts from our donors. Vickie also updates and maintains the donor recognition galleries located at the hospital in Lobby A and Lobby B as well as our employee donor recognition gallery. She provides needed information for all the staff and keeps the Foundation's database current with updated information.

Julia DiSpada
Development Assistant

Julia has been with the Foundation since 1996. She provides administrative support to the Executive Director and staff. She also gives a helping hand wherever needed - events, mailings, seminars, etc. Julia is a graduate of the Katharine Gibbs School of Business and attended Baruch College and Brookdale Community College.

Paula Higgins
Manager of Annual Giving & Special Projects

Paula joined the LRMC Foundation staff in 2007.  Paula oversees the Foundation’s annual giving initiatives including the employee giving campaign, direct mail program and gift societies, including the Women in Philanthropy program.  Paula received her B.S. from Georgia Southern University and has been involved in healthcare fundraising since 2001.

Holly L. Parrish, CFRE, MPA
Director of Major Gifts & Planned Giving

Holly joined the Foundation staff in 2002 and directs the Foundation's Major Gifts and Planned Giving Program including bequests, trusts and charitable gift annuities as well as estate planning educational opportunities for both the professional and layperson. Holly earned her B.A. in Mass Communication and Religion from Florida Southern College and her M.P.A. (Master of Public Administration) from the University of South Florida.

Alana Trimmier
Development Coordinator

Alana is the newest member of the Foundation staff in 2008.  Alana assists in the Foundation’s annual giving initiatives including the employee giving campaign, direct mail program and gift societies, including the Women in Philanthropy program. Alana is a native of Polk County and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Florida State University in 2002 with a concentration in Vocal Performance and Opera. Since then, Alana has enjoyed working in nonprofit fundraising for over 4 years, working in various nonprofit organizations in the area.
