 Millions of people are alive today because a better treatment was discovered through medical research, and through clinical trials like those being conducted at the Lakeland Regional Cancer Center. Just as insulin and penicillin changed the world of medicine, the clinical trials that we are conducting at Lakeland Regional Cancer Center will help to save lives today and advance the healthcare of tomorrow. We are pioneering treatments that are available at only a handful of medical centers nationwide. Most importantly, we are bringing discoveries to patients today while creating new hope for tomorrow.
The Foundation has raised more than $650,000 for cancer research — helping to bring dozens of clinical trials to our community each year.
If you want to leave something that will benefit your future grandchildren and children, this is a place to do it. I hope my efforts will make people more aware of the disease so that they pay more attention to themselves and the people around them.
